2nd Day of Robotics Club Training

The 2nd day of the Robotics Club training is currently taking place at EASD Secondary School, organized by RS2Lab and aimed at teachers from the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) subject group.

The training aims to equip teachers with knowledge and tools in the field of educational robotics, enabling them to establish robotics clubs in schools and integrate practical programming activities using Scratch into the teaching and learning process.

Through practical and collaborative sessions, teachers explore fundamental concepts of educational robotics, strengthening skills that can later be transmitted to students, while promoting interest in programming, technology, and innovation.

🚀 This initiative reinforces the commitment to promoting technological education and innovation in schools.

RS2Lab Launches Training Programme for the Creation of a Robotics Club in Partnership with Abílio Duarte Secondary School

RS2Lab launched today a training programme aimed at establishing a Robotics Club, to be implemented in partnership with Abílio Duarte Secondary School.

The initiative seeks to equip teachers and students with skills in educational robotics, programming, and computational thinking, fostering technological innovation and interest in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics).

This training is part of RS2Lab’s strategy to strengthen digital literacy and promote the development of local talent, bringing the university closer to the school community and creating opportunities for hands-on, creative experimentation with technological solutions.

The future Robotics Club is intended to operate as a collaborative learning space where students can develop projects, take part in technological challenges, and explore real-world applications of robotics in educational and social contexts.

The partnership with Abílio Duarte Secondary School represents an important step towards consolidating technology education initiatives in Cabo Verde, contributing to the training of a new generation prepared for the challenges of digital transformation.

This initiative is made possible thanks to the RAIL conso rtium – Responsible Artificial Intelligence Lab, which sponsored the resources required for the delivery of the training.
