On January 22, 2025, student Amílcar Júnior successfully presented his Final Project entitled Intelligent Sensor Monitoring and Actuator Control System for Agricultural Irrigation, one of the projects developed in the RS2LAB laboratory.
The project was created with the aim of helping farmers make smarter and more sustainable decisions in their agricultural areas. Using technologies such as MQTT, Node-RED, Vue.js and MySQL, Amílcar developed a system capable of monitoring sensory data such as humidity, temperature, water levels, among others, optimizing irrigation through intelligent actuator control.
