WASCAL Executive Director, Professor Emmanuel Ramde, visits the University of Cape Verde and RS2LAB

On his recent visit to the University of Cape Verde (Uni-CV), the Executive Director of WASCAL, Professor Emmanuel Ramde, paid a visit to RS2LAB. Accompanied by Professor Sónia Semedo, Cape Verde’s representative on the WASCAL Governing Board, Professor Ramde had the opportunity to take a closer look at the initiatives developed by the laboratory.

During the visit, RS2LAB researchers presented the main projects underway, including innovative solutions in the area of the Internet of Things (IoT), automation and technologies applied to sustainable development.

WASCAL (West African Science Service Center on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use) is a reference institution in research on climate change and sustainable land use in West Africa, promoting training initiatives and technological innovation in the region.

The Executive Director said that RS2LAB could be a great partner for the WASCAL Competence Center in the area of AgricTech and intelligence.
